How to find us
The position, two miles south of Hawick, just off the A7, is
ideal for many interests and activities - so whether you are interested
in Historic Houses, Abbeys, Woollen Mills and Craft Museums, or prefer
fishing, golf, tennis, bowls, putting, cycling, swimming, running,
or walking (either on the flat or up hills!) all these, and many
more, are on hand
locally.
Information on places to visit, walks or drives is available in the house
to help you plan the days. You may prefer to read, do some craft work or just
sit and take in the view as you await the two course lunch in the dining room,
or afternoon tea in the conservatory or out on the terrace. However you decide
to spend your time, you are assured of a warm welcome and we hope will leave
us, as many of our guests do, with happy memories and a desire to return again
and again .....
