Whitchester is a combination of 3-star guest house and Christian retreat centre. This former Dower House of the Buccleuch Estate has been re-furbished to provide a balance between modern convenience and a 19th century country house.  Our new annexe provides additional facilities to offer our guests; in particular, two new ground floor rooms with disabled access and a small meeting room which can also be used for art work.

Although we are not affiliated to any denomination, we have long-standing links with the local churches in Hawick and the surrounding areas.  As a Guest House our doors are open to all - those of any faith or none.
